Mid Summer Walleye Bite

The weeds have finally died along the shorelines for the summer and the forage is everywhere with nowhere to hide. Fish are heard on the surface gulping everything they can catch and walleyes on the bottom right now are hard to find. Here's a photo of my long tine friend Bob Bloemendaal of Rapid City with his and my limit on day two. We also caught nine walleyes on day one.
