Last Pheasant Hunt of the Year
Our last two days of pheasant hunting was as good as the first day, and actually as good as every day in between. The birds were in a large unharvested milo field. It only took a walk or two along the edge of the field and we had our limits. Goose hunting however, has been good but tough somedays with all the mild fall like weather we had this year. Also, we have not had any good numbers of geese to hunt or even actually pattern. Theres some around town and thats about it right now. Butch and Ryan did kill a couple today as thown in this photo. Maybe some snow north will help.
