State Records Break for Salmon
Our salmon fishing has been tough the past. A poor forage base in recent years resulted in a limited stocking program. However a few were caught in the 17 pound range like this one Ed Robinson of J.C. Robinson Seeds were caught last season. Now, due to the abundance in forage again, the state record has been broken four times this year. However, there are not that many and they are hard to catch. As you can see, when you do catch one, they are very healthy fish. Nice job, Ed! What a trophy!
