Good Bite on Lake Sharpe
The walleyes have really turned on this spring with the unusually warm temperatures we have been experiencing this month. The flats are chocked full of walleye and smallmouth bass ready to bite with little or no anglers fishing them. Pictured here are Jeremy and Barry Day from Lincoln, NE. We easily caught 100 fish yesterday trolling crankbaits. Most of the walleye are ranging from 16 to 20 inches this year and many smallmouth bass we released were in the 2 to 3 pound range. Fun was had by all.
