Runoff Levels Gets Oahe Back to Average

Lake Oahe is currently 14 feet higher than it was at this time a year ago.  It rose 3 feet this February and the current level is 1600.9 feet.  The usual long term average for March is 1601.3 feet.  It should rise another three feet this spring and summer to put it at a projected level of 1604 feet.  The highest Lake Oahe has ever been was in 1995 when the reservoir reached 1618.7 feet.  Yeah!
