There was a good bite in the Cheyenne River. We caught and released over 50 walleye. For us they were deeper but other guides are still catching them in 8 feet of water.

We caught these fish near the mouth of Mission Bay. The fish are sliding deeper, around 10-18 feet. The fish are scattered about, we threw some small ones back and it took us most of the day to get our limit....

Lower Oahe is producing some nice fish. Screw the gravel roads. We caught our limit by 11 AM down on the lower end of Lake Oahe in Agency Creek. The fish were caught on bottom bouncers in 8-10 feet of water. Here is a 23 inch female that was released.

Bob and Ruth Steever from Gillette, Wyoming and Bob and Joann Hofer from Sioux Falls and I caught these 20 walleye today. Winds were gusting 20 to 35 miles an hour and we fished near the mouth of the Cheyenne River along the steep banks and the walleye were on fire....
