July 11, 2021. A great family fishing group from Hamburg Iowa. Everyone had a fun time.
13th birthday present from grandpa
Dylan Freed from western Nebraska caught several nice walleye this morning. It was his 13th birthday present from his grandpa. He did a great job catching them and reeling them in. I think we started something new for him to enjoy.

Three limits of walleye. Two limits of smallmouth. Done by noon. We’re having fish tonight.
Wisconsin Couple
Wisconsin couple caught their limit of nice walleye and a few smallmouth bass this morning.

Today’s Catch
Nice weather and the bite is on
Lots of nice walleye this year. They are very healthy and the size is excellent. We are catching plenty of fish and are limited generally by noon or shortly after each day with 30 to 40 fish caught.
Father and Sons
Father and sons from Wisconsin stopped by for a day of fishing on their way to the Black Hills. It was pretty chilly out there this morning and the fish were very shallow from the windy conditions we had the last couple of days. Most are caught in 5 to 6 feet of water.
