Day Two
Three limits of walleye. Two limits of smallmouth. Done by noon. We’re having fish tonight.
Wisconsin Couple
Wisconsin couple caught their limit of nice walleye and a few smallmouth bass this morning.
Filled Out
Wyoming anglers fill out this morning with some nice walleye.
Today’s Catch
Nice weather and the bite is on
Lots of nice walleye this year. They are very healthy and the size is excellent. We are catching plenty of fish and are limited generally by noon or shortly after each day with 30 to 40 fish caught.
Father and Sons
Father and sons from Wisconsin stopped by for a day of fishing on their way to the Black Hills. It was pretty chilly out there this morning and the fish were very shallow from the windy conditions we had the last couple of days. Most are caught in 5 to 6 feet of water.
Walleye Bite in Pierre
Excellent walleye bite in the Pierre area.
The walleye bite is heating up.
New spots are starting to takeoff. The spawn in Pierre this year was unbelievable. Now they are done and starting to slide down the river. Oahe is producing some fish here and there. The little bend and Bush’s boat ramp are a total mess. Hopefully they will be dug out for Memorial Day.

Fishing Season Right Around The Corner!
The waters are warming up and the fishing season is right around the corner. Looks like there’s going to be some really nice walleye this year. We’ve got a couple openings left in May and June. Taking reservations for July through September. Don’t miss out!
Great Winter for the Pheasant Population
January 23, 2021. Rooster shoot at the farm. Snowed 2 inches yesterday other than that we have no snow. It’s been a very mind winter again like last year. Lots of birds. Great winter for the pheasant population!
