We have been fishing here on Lake Oahe on nice days. Most of the fish are released. Here is a couple we kept to show you the average size and health the fish will be for 2016. One is 21 1/2 inches and the other is around 17 inches. Both are fat and healthy. There is also bait fish showing up on our Lowrance units. Scattered clouds here and there in depths of 30 to 40 feet deep along shorelines and bays and some even out over 100 feet.

These walleye were taken in 10 – 12 feet of water Sunday. It was 101 degrees and these fish were in there chasing young of the year gizzard shad and perch in the back of the bays. Go figure.
