We are bringing home limits of nice walleye every day from the Cheyenne River. Fishing is excellent! Get a hold of me for some open dates in July.

Scott and I guided our group from Great Falls Montana. We ended up with some decent fish out of West Bend and some nice perch also. Everyone got their limits of walleye but we had to go through quite a few under 15.

Limits of white bass and walleye on Oahe

This spawned out female was caught and released this morning down at West Bend. The anglers were from Lebanon, Missouri, where Fisher Boats were made.

My wife and I were out checking the boat and I caught my first fish of the year. Not sure how big she was. Full eggs and we let her go.

We had a visitor too.

I just got back from our Montana Missouri River fly fishing trip and it was great.  The locals say the snowpack is around 130% of normal. That should provide an excellent rise for spawning and reproduction for Lakes Oahe and Sharpe.  It is about 3-4 ft higher already.  Stay tuned for more fishing information here in a week or so.

Excellent weather and good numbers of pheasants this season.

Another nice catch of 20 walleye in Lake Sharpe. We picked these up in 6-8 feet of water. We all caught fish but the women out fished the men of course.

The fall run of walleye is heating up in Lake Sharpe. All of these fish were over the minimum 15 inch size limit.
