The river bite in Lake Sharpe is starting. Excellent fishing. The weather is cooling off. We have lots of open days..  Give us a call or Text.

We caught these up around the Cheyenne Little Bend Area…the day after the SD Governors Cup tournament.  No shortage of fish up there.

Fishing continues to be excellent on both Lake Sharpe and Lake Oahe. All species are biting and there seems to be many schools of eater walleye around. You never know what you’ll catch.

The bite has been a little slow this week due to the baitfish hatch.  The ones we are catching have smelt in them.

Pride Built Homes out of Sioux Falls, SD came up for a day of fishing on Oahe.  We finished up around noon. Here’s what they caught.

Lake Oahe is showing signs of improvement over the last few years. This season the walleye are good and fat like the old days. A yearly walleye stocking program for Oahe (started a few years ago like the 90’s is finally starting to see results in the fishery).

We are bringing home limits of nice walleye every day from the Cheyenne River. Fishing is excellent! Get a hold of me for some open dates in July.

Scott and I guided our group from Great Falls Montana. We ended up with some decent fish out of West Bend and some nice perch also. Everyone got their limits of walleye but we had to go through quite a few under 15.

Limits of white bass and walleye on Oahe

This spawned out female was caught and released this morning down at West Bend. The anglers were from Lebanon, Missouri, where Fisher Boats were made.

My wife and I were out checking the boat and I caught my first fish of the year. Not sure how big she was. Full eggs and we let her go.

We had a visitor too.
