Just finishing up on the booked trips so far this season and the fishing is still great. We limited out yesterday by 11:00 AM. I was working a repeat customer from the Outpost Lodge. New ownership and great food. If you’re looking for a trip we have some guides available with a couple days notice.

Another catch brought in today with a group from Hull Iowa co-op. A few nice northerns were brought in this afternoon also from Lake Oahe. No reports on salmon. I hear they are getting darker.

Another good outing today with a group of four from Rapid City.  This is their second trip this year. The weather has been really windy the past four days and the fishing has been tough but today it’ straightened out and these guys caught their limits again.

Walleye have started to move up the river but they seem to be very scattered. They are feeding on a huge shad hatch.  We have caught a couple walleye reeling up to the boat.

Fishing is a great sport. Everyone gets lucky once in a while. Nice walleye was caught and released.

Braxton enjoyed a four day fishing trip with his dad and friend this past week.  After a little practice he really became a great angler and handled his fish into the net each day.

Lucas from Nebraska caught a 22 1/2 and a 24 1/2 walleye back to back this morning in Lake Sharpe. With the slots we had and those two big fish we weighed 6 fish for 16.2 pounds if the SD Governors Cup was  in  Lake Sharpe.

Four from Gillette Wyoming landed these fish by 10:00 AM this morning. The bite was on!  Friday was not as fast or as much.  I’d say around 2:30. That’s fishing.
