We have been fishing crawlers in 6 to 8 feet of water. There is a good bite in certain places for either or both species, depending on the wind and water color. There are nice walleye being caught in deeper water also, especially in the Cheyenne River. One afternoon we caught them in 23.5 feet. The bite on Lake Oahe seems to be on one day and off the next.
